Description

Meet your garden’s new worry-free centerpiece! This elegant, low-maintenance Artemisia features brilliant silver, lace-like leaves that create a soft, glowing texture. A compact gem that tucks nicely into any sunny border, it stays perfectly behaved with an upright growth habit. Once established, this stunning plant is both drought-tolerant and deer-resistant, keeping your garden effortless.

Plant Care

Water

Silver Anniversary is drought tolerant once established. It prefers to dry out between waterings. So before grabbing the hose or watering can, do the 2” test. Simply stick your finger 2” down into the soil. If it’s still moist, hold on watering until it dries down.

Fertilizer

This plant doesn’t need very much fertilizer. Simply apply one annual application of a balanced slow-release fertilizer in the spring, paired with a simple top-dressing of organic compost.

Pruning

Cut back to 1-3" from the ground in late fall or early spring so the new growth can emerge and be the show.

Seasons of Interest

Three seasons of silver foliage. Typically dies back to the ground in winter but may be semi-evergreen in some regions.
